    Many books were published in 1870 to mark the centenary of Hegel's birth, including one by Max Schasler (1819–1903), who had been a student of Hegel's biographer, Karl Rosenkranz:

    Notable for its bright orange cover, the book is titled:
    Hegel. Populäre Gedanken aus seinen Werken ("Hegel: Popular Thoughts from his Works")
    Also notable is the illustration on the book's cover, which depicts Hegel's Sterbehaus in Berlin ("Hegel's death-house in Berlin"):

    The address is No. 4 Kupfergraben, where Hegel lived from 1819 until his death in 1831.
    The building was damaged during World War II, and no longer exists, though Getty has an old pre-war photo of it:
